Custom Glass Laminating

We have the ability to deal with both PVB and EVA materials (clear or colored) from a variety of manufacturers as well as liquid poured laminating material. The latter process allows heavily textured sheet glass to be joined together, which would be impossible to accomplish with PVB or EVA films. The former process, however, allows full color graphic films printed on clear or a light diffusing Duratrans® material to be laminated between glass. Laminating will withstand the damaging effects of UV rays and will protect the print from fading. Both exposed surfaces are smooth after glass laminating which allows for easy cleaning. This process will give you the ability to achieve the most colorful (millions of color combinations) and vibrant panels available any where. For architectural applications custom glass laminating provides the benefits of noise suppression, light transmission and meeting building code safety specifications. However, there are some dimensional limitations. For PVB and EVA films the size of the laminating envelope is limited to 48” x 96”. Liquid pour lamination is limited to glass size and types that are readily available from the manufacturer. Within those size dimensions JIT Companies can achieve custom shapes through precision waterjet cutting services and can also provide flat edge polishing of the glass edges.
